Hub Houben
Hub Houben is a certified instructor and very much enjoys the training of horses of all levels. Hub also rides at both national and international competitions.
His most familiar Grand Prix competition horses are the approved AES stallion, Ukkie (Jetset D x Aktion Keur), and the home-bred mare, Tia Karmina (Obelisk x El Corona x Kristal). Both horses qualified for the Dutch Team for the FEI World Dressage Championships for Young Horses, with Ukkie being the Dutch Reserve champion in his year.
Ukkie and Tia are now the perfect schoolmasters for the next generation, and teaching several child riders what dressage is all about.
Hub truly loves to teach, and is part of the High Performance dressage instructors team being administered by the KNHS and NOC NSF***. He is a gifted coach, with a warm and engaging manner. He likes horses of all shapes and sizes, and breeds, and enjoys working with mares, geldings and stallions.
